National Chapter is a group of APNODE members who fully support the objectives and activities of APNODE, and aim to raise awareness of the initiative in own parliaments and to promote the effective use of development evaluation by policy-makers and decision-makers, both at the national and regional levels. According the Constitution of the network, National Chapters and Individual Members are key components of the African Parliamentarians' Network on Development Evaluation. Individual country or regional Chapters of APNODE can be opened and operated in individual or in groups of member countries, the establishment of which may be approved by the APNODE Annual General Meeting.
APNODE National Chapters are expected to initiate and/or participate in some of the following activities:
- Implement the APNODE programme and objectives at the national level.
- Initiate fundraising activities to fund national-level activities.
