Hachem joined IDEV in August 2013 as the Division Manager in charge of country and corporate evaluations as well sector / thematic evaluations in the areas of governance and human development.
Samer started his career in management consulting, focusing on the financial services sector and leading monitoring and evaluation in large scale change management programs. He then joined UNDP, contributing to the roll out of new results focused management policies and systems. He's been involved as consultant in supporting West African countries evaluating their capacities in managing for development for results and developing improvement plans.
Before IDEV, Samer joined the Quality Assurance and Results department of the African Development Bank in August 2009. He worked on coordinating the Bank's aid effectiveness agenda, and contributed to introducing new results tools in the Bank, such as the Development Effectiveness Reviews.
