Mr. TIOYE SIE ANTOINE-MARIE joined the IDEV.3 of AfDB in January 2016 as the Evaluation Capacity Development Consultant for Regional Member Countries. He worked previously for IDEV.1 as Consultant Evaluator and for ORHD.1 as Macroeconomist to support the Project FEF-PASED-Djibouti from April 2015 to July 2015.
He was an International Expert at The United Development Program (UNDP) Project Planning and Statistic Support to the Ministry of Economic and Finances of Djibouti for five years. Before joining the UNDP-Djibouti, he was the Director of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Analysis of the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Burkina Faso for 8 years. At that position, he had the opportunity to lead a team of professional officers and be directly involved in macroeconomic framework, conjuncture following, project formulation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies.
He have extensive knowledge and experience working in Africa having previously worked on various assignments in Burkina Faso, Benin, Djibouti, Guinea-Bissau and with an International organizations like Millennium Challenge Account (MCA-Burkina Faso), World Bank, Economic Commission for Africa (ECA-UN), CIC-CNUCED-OMC, GIZ and DFID-UK.
Tioye holds a Post-graduate degree in Management of Public Finances and Policies, and a Master’s degree in Planning and Development Economics from University of Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. He also has a certificate in Project Monitoring and Evaluation (IDEA-Canada), and a Certificate in Macroeconomic Forecasting, in Financial Programming and Policies of the IMF Institute for Capacity Development, Washington DC.
